We love story telling. Life would be boring without stories. So, we are going to tell you a story.
It is claimed that Silicon Valley loves buzzwords. Karl and Tom decided to try their hat with buzzwords.
#DisruptME210 emerged. 'Revolutionary Onsite Business Opportunity Thingamob (Robot)' was born.
We don't know how much time it took for them to come up with that abbreviation. If you loved the abbreviation, chances are high that
you will love the project brief.
We are attaching it here, incase you are interested.
Challenge Description in brief
The challenge is to build a robot that can do specified tasks within a timespan of 3 weeks.
The robot must have the capability to go along a specified line, detect 'buzzword locations', drop balls at 'buzzword locations'.
The robot must detect when and where it gets the access to go through a gate. After detecting, it should take a turn and go through the gate.
Cowshots story
Team Cowshots successfully managed to build the desired robot and got checked off.
In this story, we are going to tell you how we made our way through.
We will tell you how we went through the ideation, sketching and initial prototyping stage.
If engineering design interests you, we are going to tell you how we did the mechanical systems design, elecrical systems design and software design.
The part drawings, assembly drawings, electrical drawings can be found in the final report section. They describe the specifications in detail.
Typically, product designs go through iterations. Yes, we had to iterate too! We are going to tell you what 'clicked' and what did not click.
We are going to tell you about the modifications we did after initial testing to get checked off.
P.S. If you are just interested in the detailed report, you can go through the final report file.
P.P.S. If you are just looking for the github repository of our code,
